Fluff Favorites for Spring!

Every change of Season I have a list a mile long of what I want. Since my pocketbook can't handle such list, I'll settle for collaging it into a pretty picture. I can't explain why I'm dying for a pair of magenta heels.  They can also take a neutral outfit and make it pop!

Mark your calendars for April 19! Lily Pulitzer and Target collection will be a store near you and I'm guessing it will sell out fast. The lookbook is amazing and available here. I have my eye on the makeup train cases and the cutest pair of shorts. There are 250 pieces available with plus sizes as well.

Mini satchels are one of the it bags of Spring! As much as I like bright, I love pastels as well right now. I guess anything to infuse color to my wardrobe since it's so drab out. (It's currently snowing as I write this) So what if you can only fit a lipstick, phone and credit card holder in it? Isn't that all you really need anyway?

We just booked our tickets to good 'ol state of sunny California for our summer vacay. So of course I'm on the hunt for a bathing suit already. I love the neon brights from J. Crew. My goal is to be bikini ready but this neon yellow one piece from J. Crew would look killer with a tan.

Do you have your eye on anything for Spring?

Spring Trend: The Bucket Bag

Looking at all of the Spring trends, I am enamored with the drawstring bucket bag. Dressy or casual, it makes a great travel companion. I'm ready to break out of this rut of bland colors and spring for something bright. One of my favorites on the list is #8-The Wanderlust Messenger from deuxlux.

Do you typically buy a new bag for Spring?

Fancy Pants with J.Crew Factory!

top: F21
jacket: Zara
sunnies: J.Crew Factory

It's true, I've never met a pair of printed pants I didn't like. And these are no exception. J.Crew Factory has an amazing sale going on right now! These pants were under $30 and I can flex them between work and a night out. I love the cropped length-they look perfect with these shoes I basically stole from DSW. Wow! Another great sale going on. I always head right to the clearance section first.

I love how they show this top on the Forever 21 website as a cropped top! Ha! No crops going on here. I'm still in sticker shock that it was $15 though. F21 is doing lace some justice this season! Check out all of their lace tops HERE.

Versatile Pants for Work or Weekends with GAP Factory!

When I first started my career, I had two different wardrobes. One of work, one for home. It quickly got expensive and frustrating keeping up with both. I also found I really didn't enjoy buying "work clothes" because they never seemed overly exciting. I've now learned over the years how to blend the two and that it is possible to have fashionable clothes that are also comfortable throughout the work day. I'm excited to team up with Gap Factory today to show you how to do it! I had the opportunity to style the Slim City Pant for both work and the weekend. It was actually quite easy. These pants are stylish, office appropriate and affordable (under $40!).

Navy, green and white are such a crisp color combination for Spring. Working in dim light with no windows, I always like to brighten the mood with my clothes instead! Being on the shorter side, I have such a difficult time with pant lengths. The Slim City hit at just the right spot to elongate the leg and give me some height. I chose the navy but they also come in stone and I was told there are more colors to follow!

I love mixing prints, and florals and stripes are always a fun combo! These flats were another fabulous purchase that I found while trying on the Slim City chino. For under $20, how could I say no?! Here's your chance to save like me...Get 15% off your purchase excluding clearance in the US and Canada at a Gap Factory store near you. Present this exclusive code to the cashier: SlimCityEa. Offer will end 4/1. Not sure if there is a store near you? Click on this link to find out: Gap Factory Store Locator

Thank you to Gap Factory for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are 100% my own.

Time To Get Personal: True & Co. Apparel Brand

Things are getting a little intimate today on the Fluff Report. Here's a small secret about little Miss Fluff-I absolutely hate thongs. They've never been comfortable for me, not matter what shape, size, or design. This past weekend I got into a conversation with my girlfriends about the issue. As an aside-isn't great having girlfriends that you can discuss anything with?! Never take for granted the power of the female friend! Out of four of us, 2 give thongs the thumbs up and wear them all the time, 1 hated them but wore them to the gym to avoid panty lines and then there was me-an absolute refuser. This in no way makes me a fan of panty lines so it's forced me to find alternatives. Enter in True & Co. original uniform hidden hipsters (bottom left). When I first held these up, I thought there was no way they were going to form to my cheeks. The material is so thin and smooth and there is no elastic. But I couldn't believe when I slipped these babies on that they hugged the buns and there was no sign of lines anywhere!

True & Co. is a fantastic online intimate apparel brand. You can find out your true size by taking their fit quiz. They have a great home try on program. Who wouldn't want to try on bras in the privacy of their own home! Keep what you like and send back what doesn't strike your fancy. The best part is that just for signing up you get $25 off your first order! I literally got a three pack of lace undies for 7 dollars. Totally worth it! Use this CODE to get the awesome savings!!

PS...Fear not thong lovers-those hidden uniform hipsters also come in your favorite style!

March Beauty Faves that will make you smile bigger and whiter!

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser, Colgate-Palmolive. All opinions are mine alone. #OpticSmiles #CollectiveBias

I love discussing some of my favorite products that I use in my everyday routine. This month's beauty faves have a few things in common. They are easy to use, affordable and work. First up-how to get a whiter smile in literally 3 days* thanks to #collectivebias and #opticsmiles from Colgate® Optic White® Express White.

I am a diehard dentist fan! I visit every 6 months as recommended and find it actually relaxing. Yeah-I said it-relaxing! Maybe it's just that positive reinforcement from the Doctor each visit about what beautiful teeth I have. At this point, I'll take a compliment most anywhere I can get it. Between visits, I try to keep my pearly whites, white. Colgate® Optic White® Express White is different than most whiteners in that it contains the professionally recommended ingredient-Hydrogen Peroxide. And it actually has 2x more H2O2 than Optic White Sparkling Mint toothpaste. It's way easier than using other whitening treatments because all you do is brush to see results! It comes in three different sizes, 3oz, 4.5oz, and coming soon a travel size!'s under 10 dollars!

I have sensitive eyes so finding eye makeup remover that doesn't sting, itch, burn, etc. is a real problem. I like every last bit of makeup off my lashes so often times I'll dip a Q-tip in the solution and run it along my lash line! Well Off from Origins is so incredibly gentle. It also is extremely non-greasy which is another bonus. This gives you a total bang for your buck-it's under $20 and lasts me about 9 months a bottle!
This little drugstore beauty costs under ten dollars and will make your skin so smooth you may never use lotion again! We've all heard the multiple benefits of coconut oil. This USDA Organic solid has a home in my shower. Once I turn on the water, I put the container on the floor and the running water liquefies it. After I'm done, I use the oil as my daily moisturizer. I have no issues with dryness throughout the day but I can tell you when I've run out and had to use lotion, I can not say the same!

Find the Colgate® Optic White® Express White  here at Walmart!

In Flight Mode: Swing Trench from Banana Republic

I'm getting ready for my work trip to Atlanta at the end of this week. I can't wait to get to some warmer weather. Even if it's in the 30's (the lows), that's still about 30 degrees warmer than Rochester has been lately!

What do you wear when flying? I like to go for something comfy, casual yet presentable. I thought this little get up would be perfect. I love this new swing trench coat I purchased from Banana Republic. I've been looking for the staple item for some time but have a hard time wearing longer versions because it seems to overwhelm my petite frame. This swing version is a great fit for my body type because it doesn't swallow me and even though it has a boxier silhouette, it still has the classic trench details. It also comes in black, which I may have to purchase as well since I seem to get multiples of something when I fall in love!

If you are looking for a bag that will "literally fit everything" you own in it, look no further. Barrington Bags is the best! Completely customizable, I spent months hemming and hawing over which pattern I wanted in which combination. Seriously, I have major commitment issues when it comes to decisions like this. I'm happy with my funky ikat pattern in a traditional, neutral palette. I know if I had picked something more color crazy, I would have tired of it faster.

How do you feel about wearing a hat when traveling? On one hand it can hide potentially messy travel hair , but on the other hand, it seems like it would be uncomfortable when trying to lean back on the plane. Since I'm carrying a bag that can "literally fit everything", I'll tuck it away for the flight and pop in on later to look like a cool girl cruising to the baggage claim.

Hope everyone has a great week!
