Dark Circles? Dry Skin? Read On For Some Beauty Must Haves for Winter!

I was compensated for this shop by Collective Bias, Inc. on behalf of Neutrogena for this#NewNeutrogena campaign #AD #Collectivebias. However, all opinions are 100% my own.

Old Man Winter gives my skin a beating throughout the cold season. My eyes are dry, my hair is dry and my skin is especially dry. I was so excited to try a new product from Neutrogena that could baby my parched epidermis. I read about the Hydro Boost Gel Cream in both Redbook and People StyleWatch and couldn't wait to head to Target and pick it up. Being conscious of ingredients in my personal care products, I looked them all up on the Environmental Working Group Skin Deep website. All ingredients were within my comfort zone and it's listed as oil-free, fragrance-free, dye-free and non-comedogenic (which is a term for oils, lotions, etc. meaning it does not block pores).  I've been using this product for weeks day and night and my face feels so soft. I've had none of that tightness feeling you get with being dry. I love how light it is and I can appreciate that it's not greasy! I even put it over my makeup the other day, which is something I don't think I have EVER done. To be honest, it was fine. I kept looking in the mirror to see if I looked shiny or greasy but I didn't. I would highly recommend this product as a great beauty deal under $20!

Now what to do with the age old problem of dark under eye circles? Working as an Optometrist this is definitely a question I field a lot. I'm pretty happy to now recommend the Rapid Dark Circle Repair Eye Cream! I love how convenient it is in a twist bottom pen. The product releases into the brush after a couple clicks and you literally paint it on underneath your eyes. I always recommend dabbing the product in, rather than rubbing because the under eye skin is so thin and delicate. Using your ring finger applies the least amount of pressure. And although this isn't one of my biggest derm issues, I had a co-worker try it and we noticed a difference in 1 week! It actually brightened up my eyes as well so this is a keeper for your peepers!

I'm loving my newest beauty must haves for the long Winter we have in Rochester. My skin has not suffered at all! Lately, my beauty routine has been natural, simple and quick. I'll say it again-I love how easy the eye cream is to apply. Both products are a perfect base for my beauty routine. I used a tinted moisturizer, my new favorite eye shadow palette-the double exposure from Smashbox cosmetics and my favorite liquid liner from LORAC. I swiped my chapstick for Beautycounter's lipsheer in twig. It's hydrating, tastes like vanilla and contains safe ingredients. Do you change up your beauty routine in the Winter?
