Hi, It's Rachel! It's summer and it's always refreshing to change up your home decor to compliment the season you are in!  I always like to keep things classic, crisp & easy!  I'm loving the "rope" theme myself, so I chose a few fabulous touches to accent my space and that's it!  How about this amazing wood tray from Target on sale for $19.99?  I love the silver accent with the rope handle, giving it that "refined" & polished touch to an otherwise rustic look.  While keeping things classic and nautical, adding some extra pillows to your space is fairly inexpensive and a must have!  Homegoods has a huge selection and this navy rope design was a keeper at only $14.99.  It's a two-sided pillow too, so I call that a "two-fer!" Two different designs for the price of one...score!   And last but not least, the rope drapery "tie back" from Ballard for only $14 is a steal of a deal!  It's not as thick as the rope you played "tug of war" with in gym class, but it definitely makes a statement and looks great for a relaxed, easy breezy look!  I especially love it paired with silk drapes for a fun rustic elegant flair!  Happy Summer and cheers!

[Sunnies: bobbi brown, Necklace: ℅ SJs Village Boutique, earrings/bracelet: Chloe+Isabel, rings: Stella&Dot, Cover-up: Old Navy, sandals: Old Navy, Bag: Moosshop]

I seem to always be on the hunt for something extremely particular and at one point it was a straw beach bag. I finally found this one on Etsy and I loved the bright color! I originally ordered it in turquoise and then again in pink. It is huge inside and fits anything and everything you need for the pool or beach!

On my shopping trip to SJ's the other day, I couldn't help but pick out this coin necklace. I am obsessed with coins lately and wearing more silver jewelry once again. A long time ago, I swore I'd never wear gold then swore I'd never wear silver and now I'm just not going to swear to anything anymore!

If you are looking for a cover up that is comfortable, affordable and all around perfect, this Old Navy find is for you! It also comes in teal. The pom poms grabbed my attention but the embroidery is a beautiful touch too. All for under $25!

Hope you are having beautiful sunny weather, wherever you may be!

If you're local, chances are you've heard of or been to SJs Village Boutique. Located in the heart of Pittsford Village, SJ's has been a presence for 24 years. That's pretty amazing for a small business to whether the economic ups and downs over the past 2 decades! Still owned and operated by the original owner, SJs is definitely an inspiration in women entrepreneurship.

I love this bright patterned faux wrap dress found there the other day. The colors are perfect for Summer and and slight ruching around the waist is figure flattering. I chose to pair neutral accessories with it, but who's to say a cobalt blue pair of heels wouldn't look fabulous?

Stop in at SJ's and mention The Fluff Report for 20% off one item!

Pom Pom Trend

I was a cheerleader growing up. I used pom poms and I loved it. I was small and petite and always the one to go up in the air. I am afraid of heights which was unfortunate so I never really had the most confidence or best balance. I'm not aware of falling during a major competition but I could have blocked that from my memory. It certainly wouldn't be unbelievable.

These pom poms have a different feel to them. They aren't metallic or plastic and don't make loud noises when you shake them. They add interest to your scarf, wrist and cover up. They give a relaxed vibe rather than an in-your-face kinda feel. And I think you'll be seeing them all over this Summer. rah-rah.

If you like to organize your beauty products with a fun, cute cosmetic bag--you must check out Lucends! I love the "Valerie" Bag for traveling. It comes in 2 sizes and tons of fun patterns. Lucinda and her bags were recently at the Country Living Fair and in March the trio of zipper bags were included in a swag bag for Hollywood A-listers for the pre-Oscar party of Wolfgang Puck's! How amazing is that?! Want your own bag? Of course you do! Enter the giveaway for a large Valerie bag in the pattern of your choice! Winner will be announced this Friday, June 20th after 12 noon.

Now to what's in my bag…Ever since trying 5 Free Treat Nail Collection, I've been obsessed! The colors are luxurious, the shine is unbelievable. Better than a gel mani according to my friend Gina. 5 free means they don't use chemicals that have been known to be toxic, such as formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin, toluoene, DBP, and camphor . Get some fun summer colors like Poppies and Peonies or Goddess! And they are buy 2 get one FREE with code beckynally3for2.

Don't forget to pick up your Sephora birthday sample when it's that time of year. This year I was gifted the Make Up Forever Smokey Extravagant mascara and was hooked! Not easy for me to do, since I'm usually allergic and it's one product I don't usually use "anything". I love the tapered brush and how evenly the product is applied.

Bare Minerals recently came out with their first liquid foundation. I've never really tried much from their line, so I wanted to give this a shot. I love the luminous glow it gives me and literally one drop is enough coverage for my entire face! For only $29, this is a great price point for a high end foundation.

Ever since I started working with BeautyCounter, I have loved their Lustro Face Oils. Number 2 has a beautiful smell and when mixed with my face lotion, I feel like my complexion has a nice even tone. The smell is relaxing and calming too!

I have been into lavender lips as of late. I love the soft color, especially against a tan. After reading about YSL lip stain magazine after magazine, I had to give it a try. This is #16. It lasts all day and is a great summer color. The price is high ($35) but I have a feeling this one won't be sitting in the bottom of the bag!

Good Luck on winning your own Lucends bag!

[skirt:Express (old), cotton version, love this, shirt: eShaki, shoes: Sam Edelman, clutch: here, necklace/earrings: Chloe+Isabel]

There are some prints, patterns and textures that I can't stay away from. Ruffles happen to be one of them. They are so girly and give everything a feminine feel. I love this custom made shirt from eShaki. You can specify the length, size and style you want and it will be delivered in 2 weeks or less and they fit sizes 0-36. I love that they are dressing real women in styles that are made to fit you-no matter what your body type!

Years ago when I backpacked across Europe, I will never forget walking down the sidewalk in Nice, France and this little tween sauntered by and put his hand up my skirt! I was so appalled! The audacity of this little twerp. It was one of those moments that happened too quickly for me to react. I always wonder why certain memories hang in our brain. It was such a split second event in a huge memory making trip. This skirt and it's length (or lack thereof) made me think of it again. Will be sure to take a walk on the wild side next time I wear it...

Safe skincare for the Kids

 photo 8590a34d-562c-409f-8b53-041f01b1fa20.jpg

Do you ever wonder why so many kids have allergies now? I don't remember ANY classmates having to sit at a different "nut free" table during lunch. I never had a friend with an inhaler or asthma. I had no idea what lactose intolerance or dairy free was.  Is it something environmental causing these changes? The more research I do, the more I'm beginning to become convinced it is. As a Mom, I feel like I owe it to my kids to protect them and part of that is becoming more aware of what I'm putting not only in them but on them. If you follow TFR, you know I've been increasingly interested in trying more natural and organic products. Since buying products is more or less a hobby for me, I am the product pusher of the household. If you want to push products too, why not replace what you are already using with healthier, safer options? I put together a list of some great options to try on your babies, toddlers, and/or children.

Beautycounter has a kids line and this combo of shampoo, conditioner and body wash has an amazing citrus smell. A little bit goes a l o n g way so use sparingly and you'll find they don't cost more than something you'd buy at the drugstore. I absolutely LOVE this soap/playdoh/clay bar from LUSH. They are each a mixture of essential oils and other ingredients safe enough to eat. They smell delish and the kids will have a blast in the tub with it! Use it on their hair, body, face. My oldest hates toothpaste. If he even sees someone brushing their teeth, he gags. This Honest Co. is literally the first paste I've used where he hasn't thrown up. I'd say that's worth every penny. The bug spray is a light smell and not just for the kiddos. I've used it on myself and it works! {DEET free of course}The last two products I haven't personally tried, but they look amazing. From Fairy Tales, the sun spray contains coconut oil, almond oil, jojoba and banana extracts. Sounds like a yummy poolside cocktail! Hey-nobody's perfect! if your little one does accidentally get a sunburn, use California Baby's after SunSpray to ease irritated skin.

Let me know if you have any products that you'd like to add to this list!

[dress: J.crew (on sale for 35 dollars!), shoes: Almira by Sam Edelman, necklace/wrap bracelet: Chloe + Isabel, earrings: C.Wonder]

What do you gravitate towards more: skirts or dresses? I go in phases and right now it's dresses that are taking the cake. I didn't particularly need this one but saw it on sale at J.Crew. Originally, 178 dollars, I got it for less than 50. Not only is the print fun, I saw that back and it was a done deal! I love the wrap detail and the sliver of open back. There aren't many places where you couldn't wear this dress.

if you don't have a pair of strappy heels (or stripy as autocorrect keeps wanting me to say), go get yourself some! They are a big Summer trend and an interesting departure from the usual lineup. I had my eye on some Joie and Schutz but I needed something in a lower price point. These Sam Edelman's are perfect! Did you know you can use your GAP, BR and ON rewards at Piperlime? I ended up scoring these heels for under $70 after using mine!

Hope everyone has a lovely week! XO
