{dress: Aryn K. @ LuLus, heels: Prabal Gurung for Target, similar, clutch: Balenciaga
necklaces: pearls:J.Crew/chains:Stella&Dot, ring: modcloth,
bracelets: pink:J.crew,arrow bangle:S&D, hoops: S&D (on sale!)}

I've been waiting for the right time to wear these Prabal Gurung toughies. I call them the  edgy-out of my comfort zone-heels. Sitting in my closet for months, I could not find an outfit that I felt comfortable in to pair these with. Along came this dress {straight from the photographer's closet} and a perfect match was made. Actually it seems more like opposites attract. It took some getting used to, but I actually like the feminine, soft watercolor dress paired with the edgier lace up bootie heels. (anyone else hate the word bootie when referring to shoes?) And the mix of pretty pearls and harder chains mimic the classy-sassy vibe.

And now I'm off to read the September issue of Lucky magazine with Blake Lively on the front. She's such a style icon!
